The visual design of ViralZone is undergoing a major update to modernise the website. In addition to the graphical changes, the homepage menus are now available from every page in the form of a drop-down menu at the top right of the page.

Links to Viro3DJan. 2025

The ViralZone genus pages are now linked to Viro3D, which is a comprehensive, searchable and browsable database of viral protein structure predictions containing over 85,000 structural models of more than 4,400 human and animal viruses. These make it possible to discover previously unknown similarities, such as VP2 of Myavirus, which has a predicted nucleocapsid fold.
