The virion appear as linear, non-enveloped, and helical particles of 200x28nm with appendages of 20nm protruding from both termini. The virion surface displays a periodic pattern of 40 turns.

Circular, ssDNA(+) genome of 24.9kb. replication presumably occurs via dsDNA intermediate and rolling circle. It encodes for 57 proteins.
