RSV (Respiratory Syncytial virus) is a negative-strand RNA virus that infects humans and causes respiratory tract infections. It is a leading cause of respiratory infections in young children, particularly bronchiolitis. There is no vaccine licensed for children; however, they can be protected by a monoclonal antibody.
